Araldite® glues are so strong they help to build bridges, assemble racing cars and manufacture aircraft wings. It's why we call them 'professional adhesives' - and they bond virtually anything, including glass, ceramics, leather, wood, metal, masonry, rubber and most hard plastics.

FAQs from the Araldite website
Ever had a question about Araldite? Well here's some helpful answers to some of your questions.
WHY DOESN'T MY GLUE WORK?
The most common reasons are either:
You have chosen the wrong product for the materials that you want to stick. Check out the details on your pack or look at the product selector on the website. (http://bit.ly/ybnM9R)
or
You may not have prepared or cleaned the surfaces thoroughly enough. Look on the back of your pack for advice.
I HAVE STUCK MY FINGERS WITH SUPERGLUE - WHAT CAN I DO?
Don't panic! Most accidental skin bonds can be freed using warm soapy water and some patience. If fingers are stuck it can help if you use a pencil to help prise them apart.
WHEN IS IT SAFE TO USE WHAT I'VE REPAIRED OR MADE?
All glues have a period over which the "bond strength" increases to its maximum - even super or instant glues. Check your pack for details.
HOW STRONG IS GLUE?
The same Araldite® products you use are specified by engineers, builders, manufacturers and tradesmen. The right glue, properly applied, will give you a permanent fix as strong as any mechanical device.
TO BE SAFE I USED EVEN MORE GLUE THAN WAS RECOMMENDED BUT IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. WHY NOT?
Actually too much glue doesn't help and doesn't usually produce a neat finish. Also check whether you should be applying to one surface or both. Always follow the product instructions on your Araldite® pack.
I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF ACCIDENTALLY INHALING FUMES. SHOULD I BE?
All Araldite® adhesives are safe when handled according to Huntsman's guidelines. It's always best to work in a well-ventilated area but there's no danger from fumes.
ARE GLUES SAFE FOR MY CHILDREN TO USE?
Instant or rapid bond glues are best used under supervision for younger children but all Araldite® glues are safe when handled according to Huntsman's guidelines. There are glues recommended for art and craft materials like paper, cardboard and fabrics. Check out the product selector on the website. (http://bit.ly/ybnM9R)

For best bonding, slightly roughen surfaces with sandpaper and degrease metals with a suitable solvent.
How to use:
Follow the steps on the product pack carefully, taking care to use recommended quantities.
During assembly, apply light pressure to the joint until set.
Note the usability times.
How to strengthen:

All glues take time to reach maximum bond strength.
This can vary from a few hours up to a day or so. Check the pack for details.
Aftercare:
Don't' "test" or stress the join unnecessarily.
Allow the bond strength to build up before use.
Don't expose the join to extremes of temperature, moisture, frost etc
